Christmas List

This seems early to me. Far too early.
It hasn't been thanksgiving yet! Who's already thinking of Christmas?
But, every year, someone asks me what I want for Christmas, and when I don't answer on time because I haven't though of it yet, they give me wool socks.
Don't get me wrong. I love wool socks! I wear them all the time! They keep my toesies warm!
But my socks-drawer runneth over.
So this year, I introduce the pre-emptive Christmas-List-Strike!

I could use:
Thermal underwear bottoms. My favorite is falling to pieces, it's a Duofold Women's Small. I like them because they are designed for a human being and not someone with a 14" waist somewhere in the vicinity of their armpits.
A fun winter hat with earflaps. 
A petco gift card (what? grain-free dogfood is expensive!)
And of course: books. This is my current list.
